Próspera
Próspera is a special economic zone (ZEDE) on Roatán island, Honduras, operating under a hybrid legal system with its own courts. As of 2026, Próspera's legal foundation is contested: Honduras's Supreme Court ruled the underlying ZEDE law unconstitutional in 2024, and Próspera is pursuing a $10.7B arbitration claim against the government.
